Samarkand was proud to be part of the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) which took place in Shanghai from 5 – 10 Nov 2023 with 60 British companies exhibiting across a range of sectors including consumer goods, luxury and technology.
Our Managing Director International, Ava Liu, was delighted to attend the bustling expo and join a reception (hosted by China-Britain Business Council, together with the UK Government) at the new Sotheby's Shanghai office. The event was attended by over one hundred representatives from British and Chinese companies and HM Trade Commissioner Lewis Neal and Vice Chair Gu from CCPIT Shanghai provided opening remarks.
During the expo, we received numerous inquiries and established positive connections, making it just as vibrant as pre-COVID years.
