Queen’s Award for Enterprise: Outstanding Contribution to International Trade
Samarkand Group plc, the cross-border eCommerce technology, services and consumer brand group, is delighted to announce that it has been selected as one of 226 organisations nationally, to be recognised with a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, in acknowledgement of its outstanding contribution to International Trade.Now in its 56th year, the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise are the most respected business awards for UK businesses, recognising and celebrating business excellence across the UK. The awards highlight achievements in the fields of Innovation, International Trade, Sustainable Development and Promoting Opportunity (through social mobility).
Her Majesty the Queen has personally approved the Prime Minister’s recommendation that Samarkand be awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, for demonstrating outstanding success in international trade. Samarkand will be able to use the esteemed Queen’s Awards Emblem for the next five years
