Probio7 is one of the UK’s leading probiotic supplement brands. Samarkand launched Probio7 in China in 2018 and the brand has modernised grown its portfolio from 3 SKUs to 15. Samarkand has built Probio7’s brand Chinese presence through a wide distribution network and a Tmall Global flagship Store.
Probio7 Contours, a newly developed China first product, has sold 8000+ units and generated £600k revenue since launch in July 2020. KOL campaigns and CPC activity have grown brand awareness, including a live streaming on Singles Day reaching 70 million consumers.
Napiers the Herbalist, Scotland’s oldest herbal apothecary, was founded by Duncan Napier in 1860. Located in Scotland and online at www.napiers.net, it remains a key part of Edinburgh’s heritage retail scene. Duncan Napier, a renowned Victorian botanist, was passionate about natural health care. Napiers products, made in Britain with carefully selected natural ingredients, are available in several hundred UK health stores and pharmacies, including Selfridges and John Bell & Croyden.
Utilising Samarkand's China cross-border eCommerce infrastructure, Napiers products have launched on platforms like Douyin, Little Red Book, WeChat, and Tmall. Additionally, Napiers is featured in the SKP Chengdu luxury department store in China. Livestreams from the Edinburgh apothecary have been particularly popular, earning the Silver Award for Best Cross-border Campaign at the eCommerce Awards 2023.
